Planning

Colchester Borough Council is the local Planning Authority and they have full powers when considering planning applications.

Stanway Parish Council is consulted on all applications falling within the parish boundary. These are considered at the Planning Committee meetings which are usually held on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month. The Parish Council makes a recommendation to the Planning Authority. A monthly list of applications resolved on can be found via the link in the left hand column under 'Planning Applications'.
